School: Animals and Dinosaurs

Last week we used the theme of animals and dinosaurs. We also did the October 'draw a person'... it's something we do each month to watch the progression. This month she didn't have arms.. I thought she was just leaving them off or forgetting but then Abi said, "She is stuck in a giant snowball and only her head and feet are sticking out."
She also did her October name writing...

We played a bunch of file folder games...

We used these as a science experiment. You just stick them in hot water and they turn into sponges. I picked some up for sale at Shopko for 50 cents.

We took a field trip to the Dinosaur museum..

She loved making this racoon puppet..

on Saturday during Conference we planted pumpkin seeds. This was really fun and the kit was cheap.
