Monday was Canada Day. We are not from Canada but we both love Canada. So, I was really excited when I found out that there a lot of Canadians in our neighborhood and they put together a Canada day parade. We were able to walk around to the back of our houses and sit in a shady spot on the side of the road. We were so grateful for the shady spot because of the horrible heat wave we have been having.
It was a very small parade but the girls enjoyed it because they threw candy.
Carmen Rasmussen from American Idol a few years ago was the grand marshall.
