The Doll's Christmas

A few days after Christmas we celebrated our first Doll's Christmas.
I had a little tree decorated with their dolls the entire season.
We put wrapped gifts for the dolls.
On the Doll's Christmas Eve we read the book The Doll's Christmas by Tasha Tudor and then opened new pajamas for Elizabeth and Kirsten.

The next morning the girls opened two more presents. One pair of shoes for each doll.

A Little more Christmas

My parents did the 12 days of Christmas for us and we got so many awesome things from them....
My sister had me and she got me this adorable set:
two of my presents arrived late: Doctor Who vault book and Wonderbook- a book about creative writing

Christmas Day

Christmas Day is always so much fun!
Abi wanted to change out of her new nightgown before coming down in the morning. I think I made the sleeves too small.
They woke up really early of course but I made them stay upstairs until 6.
I made them pose on the stairs with their new stuffed animals.
Then they ran into the room with the gifts!

After all of the stockings, we started going through gifts.

Doug once said it would be fun to have a sign to hold up when he saw other people in minis. So I made it. So funny.

Maddy with all of her Santa gifts:
Minnie cheerleader, frozen book with toys, bitty baby books and toys, Belle books, and stocking things.
Abigail's Santa gifts:
American Girl honey, MLP Twilight Sparkle's castle, some books, some american girl pet sets, Draculaura doll, Pinkie pie doll, and stocking things.
My gifts from Doug:
books, books, and more books :)
some puzzle books, a Beauty and the beast/doctor who print, movies, and stocking stuff.

Doug's gifts from me:
mini sign, rubiks cube, shoes, waffle maker, CD, Movie, a bunch of gift cards to places for lunch, and stocking stuff.

Abi gave me this ornament that she made at school. I love it.

That afternoon Doug's parents came over and brought the gifts for the girls.

They both got Lego sets.
They spent the rest of the day playing and eating way too much candy!

A Christmas mess..
Doug and I spent most of the day  watching his favorite show- the old Mission Impossible series.
It was a great Christmas day!!
Merry Christmas!!
