The girls modeling by some of their art work. It is so hard nowadays to get a picture where both of them are smiling, looking at the camera, and not moving. Well, it's always hard to take one of Maddy that doesn't end up blurry because she is always in motion.
Aunt Wendy and Mishael
They brought the girls each one single pink sparkly rose.
Doug's mom (Grammy) brought them each a cute little basket. Abi's had a pack of pencils and a watercolor set in it.
Maddy's had a pencil set and a package of twistable crayons..
Doug, my sister Steph, Doug's sister Wendy..
my niece Courtney, Doug and his mom in the back...

Art Show: part one

The girls were so excited about their art show!
We scheduled it for the last Saturday of the summer.
I made lemonade and pink lemonade cookies... but the cookies were a disaster so I made a last minute run to Walmart and got a bunch of mini cupcakes.
Then I hurried to get all of the art mounted on the walls with titles and inspirations by them.
We had a good turnout.
My parents, Doug's mom, My sister Steph, her husband Dan, and my nieces Mckenna and Courtney, and Doug's sister Wendy and her fiance Mishael.
I gave everyone stickers so they could put them next to their favorite Madeline painting and their favorite Abi painting. It was fun to see what people chose.
