Last week we studied presidents because of Presidents Day. One of Abi's assignments was to make up a campaign for a Campaign Button. She needed to decide what she would want the rules to be if she was President. This is what she decided on:
"Houses would be made of candy, the grass would be ice cream, the trees would be lollipops, and the chairs would be ice cream too. Doors would be gingerbread. Everyone would eat their houses and grass and the whole Earth until there was nothing left and we'd move to Space! Bedtime would be 6:35. It would be summer all the time. Kids would play with ice cream trains."

Sounds better than any of the promises our real candidates make these days. Abi for President!
Awesome! She made Grandpa hungry! Ask her if she could somehow save Earth so we could stay here...I think it is such a pretty planet. Maybe we could eat our houses etc. and they would just grow back!!??!!
Such a sweet perspective on life. Oh, if only it could be that simple, then we certainly would have a much delicious world.
