Day 10: Pondering and Gaining Strength
On this day, all that is recorded in the scriptures is that Jesus spent the day outside the city of Jerusalem in seclusion. No miracles are recorded. No parables. No assertions of authority or of divinity.
But ponder on the knowledge He had that His remaining mortal days were numbered on one hand. What would you be thinking if you had knowledge of your imminent death? Surely His time was not wasted that day. Do you think He used this time to ponder and draw strength from Heavenly Father?
All of us have trials and great things that God has asked us to do. We too need to take the time to be still. We need time to ponder our lives and the actions God would have us take. We to need to realize that with God all things are possible and that He is our strength.
Please read the following scriptures:
Mark 10:27
Joshua 1: 9
Alma 26:12
D&C 101:16
On this day please take time to ponder, and reflect on the fact that you are not alone. God loves you and will guide you to His will. And as you follow His promptings, you will find joy and bring joy to others.
