For art last week we did a few projects. First the girls had picked out rocks over the last few weeks and they made those into pet rocks. When the paint was completely dry they glued on some googly eyes. They also named them and made little sheets telling things about their pets.
While we were waiting for the paint to dry, I glued some googly eyes down on pieces of paper and they drew around them to make them into pictures.
After that they made collages with construction paper (no pictures) and painted their wax paper and baby wipes (Abi's idea) until the rocks were dry.

Whenever we visited Utah as kids, we always painted rocks. Utah just has the best rocks!
