We hit the garage sales in our area today looking for a bike for Abi and a double stroller. We ended up getting a dinosaur toy and at the very end I found a bike.
Abi had a meltdown early in the day when she wanted a fairy toy and I wouldn't get it for her because she didn't listen to me. This was a SERIOUS meltdown right in the middle of some one's yard so I promptly dragged her back home and she had to spend the morning with Doug while I searched.
All of the double strollers I found were either more than I wanted to spend or not in that great of condition so I'll keep looking....
This bike isn't the cutest one in the world either but it works and is the right color, is big enough to grow with, and was only 5 bucks! Sweet.
Abi was really good for Doug all morning and told me she was sorry when I got home so I dragged the bike out to show her. She was so excited!
She rode it all the way down to the corner and did the best she has ever done on a bike! Now we just have to go get a helmet... but I think I'll get that new.

I think is is a cute bike! And only $5? Awesome shopping! She looks super cool in her little sun glasses, I can't believe she is still wearing her little green boots, what will you do when the 2nd pair wear out? :)
I don't know what we'll do! Hopefully they will have them in the next size up?
The bike looks better in the picture than in person. It is a cute bike though.. just old.
Thats a great deal, and she will be grown out of it soon anyway, so why spend the money on a new one? Those little ones are easier for them to learn on.
Good call on getting the helmet new. I think her bike is adorable!
John has been wanting a bike too. We're going to take him to Toys R Us and let him choose one as a reward when he (finally) gets potty-trained.
