In the middle of November, Doug went to California with his friends to the Blizzard Convention.
My mom stayed with us for a couple of days which made it feel like the old Wisconsin days.
The 6th we went to The Energy Solutions arena to see Disney on Ice.
It was both my mom's and Maddy's first time going to a Disney ice show.
The girls dressed in their mickey and Minnie shirts.
We had great seats.
Maddy got a lollipop and my mom got Abi a coloring book.

It was so much fun! Maddy started yelling "Mickey!! It's me Maddy!" as soon as they came out.
They did Little Mermaid, Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, and Peter Pan.

I've always wanted to go to one of these kinds of ice-skating shows! It looks like it was really good!
How fun to have your mom come stay with you. That is the one good thing about living far away, the long visits. Glad you could keep that tradition even now that you live close. How funny is Maddy calling out to Mickey? So cute.
