I have so many things to post... but life has gotten away from us the past week. I have started babysitting a five year old boy for the rest of the summer and so things have gotten quite hectic. I'll try to update later today or tomorrow.

I have wanted a laminator for a really long time and was so excited when I heard about this deal Amazon has going on with a Scotch laminator.

You buy the laminator and a pouch of 50 pockets for $41.50 right now (huge sale!) and you can print off a rebate coupon so that when you get your laminator and pouches you send in the rebate form with the upc codes and amazon shipping slip and you get $20 back!

That gives you an $80 laminator and 50 pouches for just over $20!! Plus you get free shipping. If you are in need of a laminator check it out here.

Home!

The last day is always the hardest because everyone is so ready to be home. Luckily the kids were having fun and we had great conditions for the drive.
This was actually a pretty amazing thing. On the news in Kearney they were talking about flooding everywhere and basically our weather report for our last day was that it was going to rain all day, our entire route.
We prayed for good weather for driving. The entire trip we could see it raining in the distance to our left and right but it never rained on us. When we got home, we got in the house, got our luggage in, and it began pouring. Amazing.

A very sweet moment....

The biggest hits as far as prizes went was this mermaid she got for Illinois and the princess necklace she got for Wisconsin. I got them at the dollar section of Joann fabric. I wish I would have got more! Maybe they have them here....

So glad to be home......and back in the jumparoo..

Heading Home

Sad to be leaving Utah and our families, but happy to be going home, we left on at a little after midnight again. This time we were going to be driving to Kearney, Nebraska (pronounced Carney, it turns out).
I loved looking back and seeing Abi like this. What a cutie pie.

The day was filled with fun "prizes" again. We were much more tired this time than on the way out.

It was so nice to get to our room so early though. We were there by early afternoon so we had lunch in our room from a nearby Taco Bell and then were able to go swimming, take naps, watch tv, and just have fun before bedtime.
We were upgraded to a two room suite which was wonderful. It had a sofa bed for Abi in the main room with her own tv and we set up Maddy's travel crib in there as well. There was also a full kitchen in this room and a giant whirlpool tub.

Our room also had a tv so I was able to watch tv while Abi watched cartoons. Nice.
We also had a King sized bed. So nice.

Abi was so excited to get into the pool. She really loves swimming now.. time to get her in lessons.

She loved that she could walk in parts of the pool. It was so funny to watch her walking around with a huge grin on her face.

I loved this picture with Maddy's crossed little legs in it. she always crosses her ankles. So cute.

Trying out the sauna sans heat.

We love AmericaInn!

Seven months old!

Maddy's stone

My parents have a little children's garden in their backyard and my mom has made little stepping stones of all the kids. She decided to do Maddy's while we were in town.
Here she is mixing up the cement while Maddy watches...

The finished stone...

Cocoa and Cinderella

Abi pretty much lived in this Cinderella dress for our last few days in Utah.
This morning was particularly fun and cozy as it was cold outside and when I came downstairs my mom had the fireplace going and some hot cocoa made!

Disney Family Movie Night: Treasure Planet

My parents have been doing the Disney movies along with us so the weekend we were at their house my mom did the movie night for me!
We watched Treasure Planet which is a fun movie.
Mom made Hot dog rockets and tator tot planets...

Later we paused the movie for Abi to use a little treasure map to find her dessert.

In a bag inside the treasure box she found a Milky Way for each of us.

That was really fun.

Strawberries and Donuts

We went out to my brothers house one more time with my parents and Brent and Matthew took Abi out to the garden to look for strawberries. She loved that. They are right up there with pancakes as her favorite food.

On the way back to my parent's house we stopped at Krispy Kreme to watch the donuts be made. We had thought about doing this before but never had. We had a little wait for the donuts to come out so my parents got us some to enjoy while we waited.

Abi thought this was very cool.

Dinosaur Park

My mom and I had talked about going to the Dinosaur park in Ogden for a long time so we decided this was the trip to do it.
I had been there before but not with my own kids and my parents had never been.

We stopped at the little museum area inside first.. I had never seen this before. Abi was a little overwhelmed by the sounds and sights.

But she loved it once we got outside and she got to run along the many trails looking for dinosaurs. It was fun to compare our hands and feet to the dino prints.

We had lunch at their little outdoor cafe which was fun. Abi enjoyed her dino nuggets and her very own soda!

Being my kid, she had to pose in all the cheesy cutouts. I don't know why but I have always had to do this when I go places that have them.

For this one, Maddy got in on the fun.

This dino spans the walkway to the park area. Abi took off to get her picture taken with him and surprised me with a little show of affection for big dino.

I love my mom.

Dad and Abi had to get into the fun as well and get scared by a dinosaur.

Abi said she loved this one the most...

After seeing all the dinosaurs it was time to play in the park. She loved looking down out of this tree at me and then surprising me with which slide she came down.

Taking a ride...

She loved this cool slide.

and the dino bars...

We had such a fun time. This park is definitely great for younger kids that want to see the dinosaurs but don't care too much about all the facts yet... and want to play!

My nieces

Tuesday while my parents got their hair cut the girls and I spent some time at my Steph's house with her, McKenna, and Courtney.
Abi still adores Courtney and Courtney was so sweet with her. Here she was showing her a game on the computer.

McKenna meeting Maddy for the first time.

Santaquin Canyon

Monday we headed up the canyon for a fun little picnic. My mom had packed our lunches in the lunch boxes from Xpedx that I use too. So cute.

She let Abi decorate hers and even brought placemats to the woods! How cute is she!

Lovin' this outdoor adventure!
